So loads of things have gone spontaneously wrong today: I’ve lost half of my revision notes, I got an email reminding me of the deadline to hand in my dictaphone that I borrowed from the library (but I’m still at home, 3 hours away), my face is currently in a state of despair and two of my bras have come out of the wash broken. I DO NOT want to be stabbed to death by my underwire.
100000000000 points to this boy for going to a football match yet still finding it important to text me and ask if I was still getting stressed out by this one module of revision or if I was okay. Like, he was busy and he was having a rare day out with his dad but he still wanted to check that I was alright. Well done, caring shown right.

“I’ll never forget the day Marilyn and I were walking around New York City, just having a stroll on a nice day. She loved New York because no one bothered her there like they did in Hollywood, she could put on her plain-jane clothes and no one would notice her. She loved that. So as we we’re walking down Broadway, she turns to me and says ‘Do you want to see me become her?’ I didn’t know what she meant but I just said ‘Yes’- and then I saw it. I don’t know how to explain what she did because it was so very subtle, but she turned something on within herself that was almost like magic. And suddenly cars were slowing and people were turning their heads and stopping to stare. They were recognizing that this was Marilyn Monroe as if she pulled off a mask or something, even though a second ago nobody noticed her. I had never seen anything like it before.”

“ I was embarrassed that I even wanted to become an actress because coming from L.A., with two older sisters in the business and a mom who had been a ballet dancer, it was such a cliche.”

If I say “R U mine?” the appropriate response is “Baby, I’m yours.”
